Duties:
Greeting office guests.
Maintaining office data.
Managing logistics for events.
Conducting legislative research.
Soliciting feedback from constituents.
Assisting in projects when necessary.
Knocking on doors to reach out to constituents
Learn what it takes to create a public event and participate in other public events by having a booth.

This internship is best suited for:
Students obtaining a Master’s Degree in Social Work or wanting to learn how casework is managed
Students working on their Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field
Any community resident with a high school degree/GED and a year of relevant work experience.
Duties:
Assisting with assessing constituents’ needs when they contact the office.
Helping liaise with state agencies and community resources to help resolve the constituent's issues.
Keeping current list of community resources updated.
Organizing data for internal documentation.
The internship will provide you with knowlege on how state government helps individuals by solving potential issues such as licenses, state benefits, or providing them with other local resouces they might need. You will be able to learn who are the local organizations in the area and what they do to help others.
